It’s been a battle for Chicago to generate consistent production on the offensive end and it hasn’t been a wall defensively, either. The Blackhawks are currently the fifth-worst defense in the league statistically and the second-worst offense. One thing’s for sure though, they can’t put up a performance defensively like they just did against the Kraken.
They allowed eight goals in that matchup and lost despite scoring five of their own. Whether it’s Petr Mrazek, Arvid Soderblom or Alex Stalock in the crease for this game, they will need significantly better production out of them. Sabres vs Blackhawks Prediction, Game Preview, Live Stream, Odds and PicksCan Sabres Get Back On Track? The Buffalo Sabres have lost four out of their last five games and appear to have lost a lot of the optimism they had earlier in the season. They lost to the Florida Panthers 4-1 on Monday, allowing four goals for the fourth time in the past five. They have a great chance to rebound against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, though, as the Blackhawks are coming off an 8-5 loss to the Seattle Kraken on Saturday.
If this doesn’t get cleaned up soon, this team is going to continue to struggle. One of their three goaltenders will need to make a statement. All of them have started at least 12 games, but Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen has been in the net for the past three. He hasn’t made four starts in a row yet this season. Those who bet online know that this could mean we are set to see Craig Anderson back in the crease. Anderson is 7-6-1 with a 2. 70 goals-against average and a. 921 save percentage. Nothing Coming Easy for Chicago The Blackhawks have had a tough season and nothing indicates it is going to be getting any easier soon. However, even with the loss to the Kraken, this team has won three of their last four.
Buffalo is the second-best offense in the league statistically and might be able to tear through a Blackhawks team that just allowed eight goals to Seattle on Saturday. If you don’t want to lay the juice with your NHL picks, consider the over. There should be plenty of goals in this one as both defenses are not playing well right now.
